Transportation in & Around Providence

Rhode Island is easy to reach by air, rail or highway. Nearby Warwick's Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport is just 10 minutes from Providence, while Amtrak and MBTA rail service are located in the heart of downtown. Once here, Providence and Warwick offer ample car rental, limousine and charter bus options. The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (known as RIPTA) provides convenient public bus transportation throughout the state.
